Why are you called Escargot Designs?

We call ourselves Escargot Designs,  because every key item of furniture i.e. Dining Tables,  Beds,  Mirrors, and Shelf Units has a small cast snail (escargot) attached to it which measures approximately 30mm in length.  This is included as standard,  but should you not require this please let us know when ordering. View Snail

Can I choose the metal finish?

All our furniture is made of steel powder coated  in either a Gun Metal, Bronze, Gold, Aluminum or Black satin finish. (Powder,  normally polyester based is applied electro statically and then baked in an oven to give a hard wearing smooth finish).

What fabric can I have on my chairs?

If you have visited us you will have been able to choose from the range of fabrics we have available,  if not we will happily cover the chairs in a fabric of your choice.   Simply send us your choice of upholstery fabric, we require a 0.5 metre length of standard width fabric for each pair of chairs.

Will the furniture cause damage to my floor

On carpeted  floors our furniture is fine as there are no sharp edges,  however you will experience some denting on soft flooring when items remain stationery for long periods.  If  you have either a wood or tiled floor then we can fit hard felt pads to the bottom of the chairs to avoid scratching or marking , simply let us know your floor type when placing your order.

Do you make things to a special size?

Yes,  we can produce custom items to any size to meet your requirements,  our brochure lists the standard sizes available.   Please call us on 01935 825975 to discuss your special needs.

When and how will my furniture be delivered?

In most cases we carry out our own deliveries,  ensuring that your furniture is treated with the greatest of care.  Delivery is normally 4-6 weeks from order date although on occasions this may be increased due to circumstances beyond our control.

Is there any guarantee?

Yes, because we manufacture and finish all our furniture we know that it will be of the highest quality and therefore offer you a full money back guarantee on all items at the time of delivery,   if you are not entirely satisfied.  In addition to this all our furniture is guaranteed against breakage during normal use for a period of five years (excluding glass).
